Two Years of Blogging

This month marks two years of blogging. In hindsight, it’s astonishing how much my life has changed since I launched this blog in February 2019. I’ve graduated college, moved to a new city, cut my teeth in the public relations industry, made new friends, lost touch with other friends, and learned some hard lessons along the way. Not to mention living through a global pandemic. Through it all, this blog has been a little oasis for me, a space to document, celebrate, and reflect on life.

Although I stepped away from blogging at times during the turmoil of this past year (more on that here and here), I always seem to find my way back to this little corner of the internet. I think that’s a beautiful thing.

I’m proud that even with my hiatuses, I increased the number of blog posts I published by 25% year-over-year. I’m also proud of getting accepted to RewardStyle, learning more about search engine optimization (SEO), launching the On My Radar monthly series, and being publicly vulnerable about my struggle with anxiety and my lowest lows over the past year.

To everyone who reads this blog, I can’t thank you enough! Every comment, share, and kind note truly warms my heart. You are the absolute best, and I am immensely grateful for your community and support.

While I’m not sure what’s in store for the upcoming year (if 2020 taught me anything, it’s that we never know what’s around the corner), I am looking forward to continuing to share my life on this platform, creating content that you enjoy, and evolving as I go. If there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog, let me know in the comments or send me a note at contact@abbymeister.com. Here’s to year three and all that it holds!

just got to this one; you should be very proud of all you’ve accomplished in these 2 years, on the blog and off! Keep writing, so we can keep reading.
