Hi everyone, how are you holding up? It’s day 24 of social distancing for me and I’ve been up and down. There are days when I’m optimistic and focused on all of the blessings in my life and other days when I’m stir-crazy and riddled with anxiety. However, I’ve noticed that the days I’ve felt best are the ones where I’m intentional about setting myself up to have a good day. For me, one way to do this is by putting on “real” clothes. Picking out my outfit is something that I can control (unlike everything else that’s going on in the world right now) and an act that provides me a degree of normalcy. For that reason, today I’m sharing an outfit that brought me joy this week!

I’ve wanted to try the midi skirt trend for a while and jumped when I saw this pull-on slip skirt from J. Crew. It’s such a flattering cut and doesn’t swallow me whole like I was afraid a midi-skirt would. I will say that the waistband doesn’t have much give, so take that into account when selecting your size. Other than that, the skirt fits TTS.
