Every year at this time, I get excited about fall fashion, no matter how hot and humid it still is outside. And for the last couple of years, I’ve gravitated towards leopard when adding pieces to my autumn wardrobe. Enter these fabulous leopard pants and my favorite new outfit for fall!

I scooped up these J. Crew kickout leopard pants for a steal at $9 when they went on sale last month. I love the pants’ print and flattering cut. All of J. Crew’s kickout-style pants have what they call Perfecting Pockets, which lift your tush. The kickout pants are designed to be cropped and hit above the ankle, but since I’m only 5’4, they land at the top of my feet. I actually prefer the full-length look!

At the moment, my leopard pants are sold out on J. Crew’s site, but as I’m writing this, there are a couple of sizes available at Nordstrom Rack. Also, these, these, and these are similar options.

Inspired by Abigail’s Instagram post, I paired the leopard pants with this black pullover that’s an inexpensive alternative to the Dudley Stephens Park Slope. It’s currently on sale for $25 and also comes in two other colors. I love the mock neck, especially for chilly fall mornings.

For footwear, I went with my favorite Jack Rogers ginger jar flats. They’re from last, year but I found the exact pair in select sizes (here and here) on Poshmark. These, these, and these are also great simple black suede flats. If you want something with a little more flair, I like these black jeweled loafers and these gold embroidered flats from Jack Rogers, which are both on sale right now.
